Life Strategies was established by Sharni’s father Bob Lofgren in 1995 and Sharni joined him in 1997 to “help out for a while”. Sharni took over the management of the firm in 2005 as Bob’s health failed and has managed the business since then.

Since 1997 Sharni has gained extensive experience in the areas of portfolio management and strategy design.

Sharni is a Financial Planner who works closely with you to design and implement strategies to assist in meeting both your current and future financial needs and objectives by:

• Discovering and agreeing your goals and objectives.
• Developing personalised strategies to achieve these goals and objectives.
• Managing and reviewing the ongoing portfolio in conjunction with you.

Sharni also has a strong background in self managed superannuation fund strategy and fund administration.

Michael joined Life Strategies in 2008. He has over 20 years’ corporate experience in various financial management roles.

Michael is a Financial Planner specialising in Risk Management.

Michael works closely with clients to:

Identify their personal and business insurance requirements
Ensure they have the correct type and level of cover in the most cost and tax effective structure
Research and recommend the best policies available in terms of features and benefits
Implement the risk advice and provide regular reviews

Michael also focuses in providing advice in the areas of superannuation, social security and debt management which includes mortgage and credit advice.

Ben is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Agent.

Ben commenced working in public practice Chartered Accounting firms in 2004. He has expertise in tax planning and compliance, accounting, auditing and business advice.

Ben joined the Life Strategies team in June 2013, bringing a wealth of experience in assisting clients meet their financial needs.

Ben has previous experience as a Paraplanner and a specialty in Self-Managed Superannuation Fund administration and advice.

Joining the Life Strategies team in 2017, Emma Kerdic is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Agent with over 20 years’ experience with small to medium Chartered Accounting firms.

Emma brings a wealth of experience in assisting clients to meet all their taxation needs, paying particular attention to helping clients understand their tax positions and obligations. Her areas of expertise include, income and capital gains tax advice, tax planning and structuring, international tax, tax compliance, accounting and business advice for small to medium enterprises and individuals.

Alison joined Life Strategies in 1999 in an administrative role after 20 years as an insurance broker. As well as day-to-day organisation of the office, Alison manages our IT systems, maintains our software and assists with some client administration.

Uta joined the Life Strategies team in 2015 in a full time role as Office Manager.

After working for more than 10 years as senior solicitors assistant in Germany, she completed a Diploma in Business Administration and is studying towards the Diploma in Accounting in Sydney. Uta’s administrative skills contribute to the smooth running of the office and she assists Advisers and Accountants.

Natacha joined Life Strategies in October 2017 as our Client Services Manager.

Her career extends over various industries from small business to large corporations, from privately owned organisations to not-for-profit organisations. Natacha comes to us with a wealth of knowledge from the various industries. Having experienced the different myriad of working life, Natacha brings with her warm personality, her ability to build trusting relationships and her strong work ethics. She works closely with the Financial Services team.
